  Compact EDC Right-Angle Flashlight

  The Nitecore EDC09 combines the compact form factor of a modern EDC flashlight with the versatility of a right-angle light. Featuring high light output, an integrated Li-Ion battery, and a durable stainless steel housing, it delivers impressive functionality in a highly compact package.

  Housing

  The Nitecore EDC09 features a two-piece stainless steel body with a PVD coating, designed for enhanced durability in daily use. With its compact dimensions and a weight of just 114 g including battery, it can be carried comfortably in a pocket or attached to gear. The integrated two-way pocket clip offers additional carry options. Rated to IPX6, the flashlight is protected against powerful water jets and is impact resistant up to 2 meters.

  Technology

  LED Performance

  The light source consists of two Quad-Core MCT UHE LEDs. Maximum output reaches 1,600 lumens with a beam distance of up to 153 meters and a peak beam intensity of 5,990 candela. The integrated MCT (Multi-Color Temperature) technology allows users to select between three different color temperatures, enabling the light to be adapted to a wide range of applications and environments.

  Power Supply

  Power is provided by an integrated 1,100 mAh Li-Ion battery. Charging is handled via the built-in USB-C charging port. An integrated battery level indicator keeps users informed about the current charge status and helps with planning longer operations.

  Thermal and Output Management

  The proven ATR (Advanced Temperature Regulation) technology monitors operating temperatures and automatically adjusts output according to environmental and operating conditions. In addition, the integrated temperature monitoring system helps maintain stable performance and maximize runtime in High mode.

  Features

  Flexible Task Lighting

  The 102° adjustable lamp head significantly expands the flashlight's versatility and allows the beam to be directed precisely where it is needed. Combined with the magnetic tail base, the EDC09 is particularly well suited for hands-free work on vehicles, machinery, equipment, or around camp.

  Operation

  The flashlight is operated via a side-mounted slide switch and a dedicated mode button. The slide switch provides direct access to brightness levels, while the mode button allows quick switching between the three available color temperatures. The integrated optical TIR lens produces a smooth and evenly distributed beam pattern.

  Output and Runtime

  The Nitecore EDC09 offers four brightness levels across three selectable color temperatures. In the energy-saving Ultralow mode, the flashlight achieves a maximum runtime of up to 250 hours. A dedicated 200-lumen Warning Flash mode is also available.
