Hook-and-loop expansion panel for carry systems
The Black Trident SICARIO Expander Wing is a rigid Tegris panel designed to expand the SICARIO Chest Rig, but it can also be adapted to countless plate carriers and setups equipped with hook-and-loop attachment. It adds additional PALS webbing, creating mounting space for magazine pouches, radios, utility pouches, handcuffs, and other mission-essential equipment.
Versatile expansion option
The half-PALS spacing allows for precise positioning of MOLLE pouches on the panel, helping to prevent interference with other gear. Thanks to its hook-and-loop backing, the SICARIO Expander Wing can easily be installed inside the hook-and-loop interfaces of chest rigs and plate carriers. This makes it possible to mount pouches on compact chest rigs or plate carriers in locations where no attachment points previously existed. Four integrated holes provide additional routing options for shock cord. Whether carrying a radio beneath the cummerbund, an IFAK below the rear plate, or extra magazine pouches on a micro rig, these expansion panels make modular equipment even more modular.
Mounting on the SICARIO Chest Rig
The package includes one panel and two Expander Straps. When mounting the panel to the bottom edge of the chest rig, the extension straps are not required. For side mounting, however, using the extension straps is recommended. The extension straps feature open square rings that are easily threaded through the side loops and then routed through the elongated slots in the panel, creating a low-profile fit without restricting the function of the side-release buckles. MOLLE pouches can then be mounted on either the inside or outside of the panel.
